|
|
I'm using an SATA HDD with 2005.0. It seems that evryone is having a "already mounted or ... busy" error when they attempt to mount partitions.
This is my first time installing Genoo, so I just want to get this clear: Do I need to download an older distro of Gentoo, or can I just chose another Kernel at boot time?
Thank you in advance. |

If you're sure that you haven't been (previously) using devicemapper/lvm(2) you can do the following:
dmsetup ls
This should list the devices that devicemapper thinks it is responsible for.
dmsetup remove_all
This should remove said devices and allow you to mount them without the "already mounted or device busy" messages. |
