Udev + Logitech Mouse + Laptop Track Pad

Hi, I'm new to all this "Project Utopia", udev and so on. And, since upgrading, I've found my trackpad to become "insensitve" - sorta sticky movement - unless I don't boot with my USB logitech mouse. I was wondering if there are any Gentoo style documentation for Udev and mice, I havent found any, or maybe someone could help me out and try and understand whats happening - I have no clue.
