bonjour,

J'ai un probléme avec ma gentoo:gnome ne demarre plus apres que j'ai tapé mon nom d'utilisateur et mon passe dans l'ecran d'acceuil(xdm ou gdm je pense)
par contre quand j'ouvre ma session root la pas de probléme...je sais me logger et gnome demarre normallement.

Bon ok c'est un peu long mais surement du au fait que j'ai fait plusieurs tentatives...:) par le lancement d'un autre login en fenetre(en étant root)
Encore un ptit détail:j'arrive a logger mon utilisateur inexus en faisait dans le login "failsafe terminal",alors j'ai un terminal ouvert avec mon user!
j'espére avoir été assez explicite...
Si quelqu'un a deja eu le probleme ce serait bien sympa de m'aider:D

par hasard essaye si tu as le fichier de virer le .ICEautorithy (un truc comme ca) dans ton repertoire home

moi aussi je n'ai pas ce fichier mais bon ca peut etre une piste (un soft compile avec le support pam_console qui ne trouve pas ce module)

il y a un useflag pam sur gdm... donc moi je dis que ça sent le pam à recompiler.

EDIT: note que j'ai le useflag pam d'activé et je n'ai pas non plus cet lib.... donc c ptetre pas ça.
EDIT2: pam a un useflag pam_console qui ché moi n'est pas activé, je devine d'ici que ché toi il est activé... ça confirme donc l'odeur de pam à recompiler ;)

j'avais des problème avec ma session gnome aussi... je ne faisais jamais les etc-update... J'ai fini par le faire et la plus de pb

Il n'y a pas de fichier de configuration a updaté j'ai essayé,j'ai aussi retirer dans /home/inexus mon fichier .ICEauthority et rien n'y a fait,ca doit vraiment venir de ma session gnome car quand je lance en terminal ca ne pose aucun probléme,peut etre est ce un programme qui se lance mal ou que sais-je??Si quelqu'un a une idée d'un autre endroit ou s'enregistre des logs qui pourrait etre utiles signalez le moi et je le posterais...
J'avais pensé a refaire les permissions sur /home/inexus car on dirait que c'est la que ca bloque...

En fait je n'ai pas cette commande,mais j'a trouvé la cause de mon probléme:mon dossier /home/inexus (le dossier de l'utilisateur qui bloquait quoi) était mit en propriétaire root,donc mon user inexus ne pouvait pas y ecrire et c'est primordiale pour lancer gnome!Donc y suffit d'aller dans les propriétés du dossier en étant root et ensuite de changer la propriété de root à inexus!C'est tout con:)
