|
|
Hello!
I have just emerged Gnome 2.10 on a fresh installation of 2005.0 and the first time I log into Gnome I get an error message stating:
"The panel encountered a problem while loading "OOAFIDD:GNOME_MixerApplet".
Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?"
Any way to get more information on what exactly is wrong? Any way to fix this?
I tried to search the forum for a similiar but only found some threads which had extra info about a Corba error which I don't get so I think this might be a different problem.

I got the same problem, I will use the search function in this forum.....
Edit: No help found.
I compiled gnome-light with gnome-alsamixer, sound is working, but I got the same errormessage. I deleted the applet. Since then I got really crazy errormessages with a lot of code when I exit gnome. But everything is working now. I don't want these errormessages....
