Hello.
I have a new Alpha UP1100 computer, and i want to install gentoo linux.
I have used two gentoo cdlive, minimal and universal, but i can't to boot the system.
In SRM console i type : "boot dqb0 -flags 0" then screen go red and stop boot process.
Anybody knows about gentoo on UP1100?

Try boot dqb0 -flags 1 instead - that'll boot the 2.4 kernel instead of the 2.6. Hope this helps. |

Yes, as you said, with -flags 1 the computer work good.
