Hi,

Im trying to get proxy working in my shell. Not only in my web-browser.

This is my /etc/env.d/99local
Code:

http_proxy="172.18.44.220:8099"
ftp_proxy="172.18.44.220:8099"


What can be wrong!?

I don't have any proxies here to verify, but don't you need the protocols in the settings to make it work?

Well, kind of works now. I cant ping, but i can download with emerege. So something is worng ;)

Edit: The problem is that I cant do DNS lookups in other than my webbrowser. Does anyone know how i can solv this? I really need to use Subversion and ftp ;)
