ich bin neu bei Gentoo, deswegen glaub ich das es bestimmt an mir liegt.

Aber jetzt der Fehler:

Ich hatte heute einen ähnlichen Fehler, als ich den Firefox _neu_ emergen wollte. Komischerweise hatte ich das beim ursprünglichen Update auf dieselbe Version vor ein paar Tagen noch nicht.
Vielleicht steckt da irgendein Library dahinter, das upgedatet wurde?
An meiner make.conf habe ich zumindest schon seit Wochen nichts geändert.

hatte ich auch schon gedacht. Aber ich mach das schon seit 4 oder 5 Tagen und mindestens zum 10 ten mal. Daher glaub ich jetzt das es irgendwie bei mir liegt.

ich hab gestern noch festgestellt das meine Platte fast voll war (99%) und hab dann mal Platz gemacht weil ich dachte es liegt evtl. da drann.
Leider ohne Erfolg, Abbruch wieder an der gleichen Stelle.

Evtl. hat ja jemand noch eine Idee.

ich kenne diesen fehler. Ich weiß auch ziemlich sicher wie man ihn beseitigt. Als erstes machst du noch mal einen emerge von freetype, wenn es dann immernoch nicht klappt mach den folgenden emerge:

Ich hatte noch gar kein emerge von Freetype gemacht. Werd ich gleich mal Probieren und anschließend Mozilla emergen. Poste dann ob Erfolg oder nicht.
