It seems that all too often we get a "What kernel should I use?" or "Which program is better?" type questions. Perhaps we should make an Computer Software Opinion Forum.
The advantages:
1. It will clean up the assistance forums.
2. People with opinion type questions will be more likely to find their question answered as the major ones could be sticky. Plus they could limit their search to that forum and get less unrelated search results. _________________ If you get your problem solved put a [SOLVED] in the title!

Tamsco,
Unfortunately, the people asking those sorts of questions are looking for one word answers, not an opinion.
Well, thats my opinion anyway. So it wont work. _________________ Regards,

True but people always respond with a paragraph full. Either way it's not the length of the threads, it's about the number of threads cluttering up the forum. _________________ If you get your problem solved put a [SOLVED] in the title!

Didn't even know that existed. ... I gues Gentoo Chat is probably the best forum for that. _________________ If you get your problem solved put a [SOLVED] in the title!
