I need to change teh nameservers in /etc/resolve.conf. What service do I need to restart to take these changes into account?

Don't know if there is a better method, but I usually restart the interface. As in:
Code:
/etc/init.d/net.eth0 restart

You don't need to restart anything. The changes take effect immediately, but you do need to spell it right. It's resolv.conf (no 'e').
