|
|
I think I need a little help here, because when I'm trying to learn to use openbox I notice that the screen is not centered as about an inch of the left side of the sceen I cannot seem to move my mouse over to and when I tried to run fbpanel I can only see the very, very top of it. Also any programs I try to use seem to go off the screen a little. I'm not sure how to modify this behavior as I've searched some threads and it talks about xorg.conf but I can't seem to find mine to actually modify it. Could someone please tell me where I can find it as I can't seem to see anything without it. Thanks.

PS. I'm not sure if this helps, but I'm currently using a samsung 17' lcd monitor |

Why don't you use monitor controls for this? |

Thanks nixnut!
Looks pretty good now, I can see the panel and the screen is fairly well centered. I noticed that a lot of warnings went off before using xvidtune about damaging my monitor by changing the settings if I didn't know what I'm doing, do you think I might have caused any problems?
