CrossOver office and X forwarding

Here's the problem.

I got a main server pc with gentoo installed, along with the latest version of Crossover office and then Microsoft office 2000. I need to use Access but also have an Ibook.

I can log in to the serve via ssh, forward X11 programs to the ibook and run MSaccess and have it load up on the screen. The only problem is that some of the text is invisible. The window menus work fine but text in file lists and on buttons text is missing. It runs fine locally. I'm guessing that this is a font problem.

I've only been messing around with ssh x fowarding for about a week so im not sure what i need to do. I have only followed the standard installations guides for gentoo and i'm don't think i set up a font server with X. could this be the problem? or could it be fonts missing for the Ibook version of X.

I'm on Macos 10.4 on the ibook, gentoo 2005.0 and Xorg 6.8.2-r1
