Tag,
ich habe wieder einmal ein Problem mit meiner Hardware 
Habe einen Swissbit 1GB USB-Stick gekauft, der auch unter Linux funktioniert hat. Ich konnte ihn mounten etc.
Nun kriege ich beim Einstecken folgendes:
| Code: | usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 11
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 12
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-1: device descriptor read/64, error -7 |
Die Gerätedatei /dev/sdx wird dabei aber nicht angelegt...
Was läuft da falsch?

als ich das letzte mal sowas gesehen hab war der usb stick kaputt

Funtioniert er unter Windows im Full Speed Mode (USB 1.1) oder im High Speed Mode (USB 2.0)?
War der mit USB 2.0 eingerichtet (mit einer schönen UDEV Regel wie bei mir)?
Schon mal an einem anderen USB Port ausprobiert (einige sind halt immer wieder gleicher als andere )? |

Funktioniert unter Win sowohl im Low als auch im Fullspeed Modus.
Ist nicht als Udev Regel eingerichtet.
Anderer USB-Port hat mal an einem anderen (Linux)Rechner funktioniert, allerdings nur beim ersten Einstecken, danach nicht mehr.

| Hast du USB als Modul oder im Kernel? Ich hatte mit meiner externen USB Festplatte Probleme bis ich alles nötige in den Kernel einkompiliert hatte. Sollte zware nicht notwendig sein, aber bei diesem USB Controller-Client Paar ging es nicht anders. |
