|
|
Hi,
recently I installed firefox 1.0.3. I didn't use the precompiled binaries.
Now I have problems with some pages (e.g. IBM WebSphere Admin Console), I got a
ServletException in:/secure/layouts/configGenPropLayout.jsp] null and a almost blank page returned.
It seems that firefox 1.0.3 does some bad/strage request on some pages.
With firefox 1.0.2 everything was OK. Does anyone have similar problems?
BTW with firefox 1.0.3 on the "evil OS" everythings works fine....
CU

Hi,
on the firefox forum I didn't see any help (request for help - the answer is: I don't have that problem) and open a bug report ... hmmm... I am not quite sure how to describe my problem/bug .... developers (I am one too. ) are sometimes very ... hmm... thin-skinned, if you blame their software with an inaccurate error description.

well you wanna make bug report for it?
I dont really can "replay" the incident you have so I not really sure. _________________ "Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent" - Marilyn vos Savant

Well, I also do have some problems with firefox 1.03. Not related to yours (I think), but annoying.
On the one hand I can no longer print from firefox. And the right-click menu (needed for: save link as...) is so extremely long and doesn't care about Desktop borders, which means most of it is not accessible all the time.
Quite annoying to fire up konqui just to download / print stuff.
Same problems anyone?
Have Fun

I was having random problems with 1.0.3 but I finally uninstalled then reinstalled all of my plugins. Everything seems fine now. |

Yep, I was having problems with the right-click menu since updating to 1.0.3 also.
Turns out there was an update to Tabbrowser Preferences that for some reason Firefox's automatic update notification was never reporting. When I went to Tools,Extensions, and manually clicked Update though it found and installed it. I restarted firefox and everything's back to normal again. |
