Hello,
I always thought that wifi was from 1 to 14.... but today in arriving in this young hostel, I fired up kismet to find out where was the free wifi access... I did find the hostel one, but I also find one on "channel 0"...
How can such channel exists? it is not in the 1-14 range... anyway I tried to log on it, it doesn't work...
So what is that?? a fake network? or a new kind of wifi???
Thanks in advance for any info!

The 14 is used in Japan IIRC.
I tried again last night and I catched a second network on the 0 channel... Which is also non-secure but there is no way to connect to it... I wonder if thqt's something specific to England, where I'm now
Any wifi guru having some explanation about the 0 Channel?
Thxs in advance
