|
|
Here's what happens:
Code: | root@hermione ncurses # emerge -uDv world
Calculating world dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 211) sys-libs/ncurses-5.4-r6 to /
!!! Files listed in the manifest do not exist!
ncurses-8.1.ebuild
root@hermione ncurses # |
What's happened?
Here's what's in /usr/portage/sys-libs/ncurses:
Code: | -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 14851 May 1 13:35 ChangeLog
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 928 May 3 01:05 Manifest
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 May 3 01:05 files
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 164 Dec 9 2003 metadata.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6140 May 3 01:05 ncurses-5.4-r5.ebuild
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5378 May 3 01:05 ncurses-5.4-r6.ebuild
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5595 May 3 01:05 ncurses-5.4.20050319.ebuild |
And in /usr/portage/sys-libs/ncurses/files:
Code: | -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 64 Aug 30 2004 digest-ncurses-5.4-r5
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 64 Mar 23 00:01 digest-ncurses-5.4-r6
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 142 Apr 28 19:08 digest-ncurses-5.4.20050319
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jul 10 2004 digest-ncurses-8.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 351 May 3 00:48 ncurses-5.4-c++-templates.patch
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 686 Feb 29 2004 ncurses-5.4-share-sed.patch
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 495 Mar 3 2004 ncurses-5.4-xterm.patch
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 342 Aug 1 2003 xterm-debian.ti |
Check it out! "digest-ncurses-8.1" has zero length. I've done two "emerge sync" since I first encountered the problem, so it can't be simply one bad rsync. |

Try removing that digest first and retry syncing.
I haven't synced since last week so I can't tell you if it is the mirror or not. |
