pth is a dependency for kdepim. on installation, it hangs to:

checking for stack setup via sigaltstack...

taking 100% cpu time (which was not funny as I left it running overnight..)

I can compile kdepim without pth with the USE flag -crypt but I'd like to solve this problem anyway.

Same problem here. Trying to emerge centericq with crypt useflag. No problem with -crypt. Is this really an isolated problem?
Running 2.6.12, pure udev, stage 1 on 3, gcc 3.4.4.
Anyone hav any ideas?

exactly same problem emerging pth for sylpheed.
