Hi, When I go to the local network in kde I have this:
lan://localhost/me... but why localhost ? why not my network? like "WORKGROUP" ???
and when I go there I have a:
Quote: |
unable to start the processus unable to create the I/O module
KLauncher returned: "smb" unknow protocol
|
what's the matter ?
I would like to add that when I do a "smbtree" and a "smbmount" it works perfectly...
Edit: Fixed the "stuck caps" problem in your title. --Maedhros _________________ le_barbu is on linux.

Hi
localhost is the name for 127.0.0.1 and thats always your Computer.
And I think u need to recompile KDE with samba useflag that Konqueror/KDE understand the smb protocol. Maybe u only need to configure Konqueror right without compiling it again.
But why U don't use the command line?
