HI,

In KDE I would like to change the default way icons line-up on the desktop. Instead of on the left like Windows I want them on the right like in Mac. I looked around and I wasn't able to find a way to do this.

Anyone know the secret to get this to work?

Thanks,
~mike

It seems that you don't have any way of configuring KDE in that way. I looked for quite some time in the settings and haven't found anything. But this would be a nice feature for future versions of KDE. Perhaps you could recommend this to the developers. Isn't there this nice kind of wishbox on the KDE site?
But back to your problem! I'm no KDE wizard but you may have to drag your icons to the left by yourself hoping that aligning them to the grid will give a nice result. Sorry about that!

I doubt you can without writing a patch for qt. The QIconView class is used for the desktop and only contains options for LeftToRight and TopToBottom.
