Have anyone experienced problems with all xvideo output turning out blue after a couple of days uptime?

It can happen while I'm playing (more often when I'm resizing or moving the video window) any kind of video using any kind of application using Xvideo extension or just next time i start to play a video.

Xvideo works again if I restart the X server.

Is this just a nasty bug in some implementation somewhere that only I have experienced or have anyone else seen this? Any ideas?

Specifications:
arch: amd64
kernel: gentoo-sources-2.6.11-gentoo-r6
xorg: xorg-x11-6.8.2-r1
nvidia-kernel: nvidia-kernel-1.0.7174
nvidia-glx: media-video/nvidia-glx-1.0.7174-r1

I think its a bug, i experienced the same thing on my AMD64 machine, until now I wasn't able to solve it...
I'm also using a nvidia gfx-card and xorg.

Same here (Athlon XP 2000+, NVIDIA GF Ti4200). I've had this problem for ages, even before I switched to Xorg. Restarting the X server does not always solve the problem for me, however. As a workaround, I'm using OpenGL instead for video output and the like. Just add "-vo gl" to your mplayer command line.
