|
|
i just recently upgraded my system and previously my sshd.log file was in /var/log/sshd.log. however, now i cannot seem to find the sshd.log file anywhere on my system because it seems sshd is not logging even though it should be.
in my sshd_config file I have:
SyslogFacility AUTH
LogLevel INFO
and i am fairly certain everything else in the config file is correct. any other suggestions on what todo?
thanks in advanced. |

Don't you have a /var/log/auth.log now?
You can change the way sshd logs by changing the log facility. _________________ -- erol |

Forgot to say, check for different log facilities. _________________ -- erol |
