I'm building with KDE split ebuilds, but can't seem to find the graphical disk usage plugin for konqueror. (kind of like kdirstat but prettier/more informative)
Thanks! |

Have you tried kdiskfree? (ok so its not a konqueror plugin, but it does the job) - its in the K menu somewhere. |

It's not what I am looking for. The tool I mean displays coloured squares for each file and directory in size proportional to the filesize/directory-size. It is an excellent way to see what is taking up space and where. |

there are several of these tools. fsview is the name of what you are looking for, I think. dunno the exact ebuild name... just install some konqi plugins and KIO slaves |

Thanks. Installing stuff haphazardly though is exactly what I was trying to avoid.
If/when I figure out where it lies, I'll post it here. Though I'm compiling some other stuff before I'll get to that... so a helpful tip/hint would still be much appreciated. |

No. This one is a plugin to konqueror. And I know where it is accessed from when it is there.
However, it isn't there and so I need to figure out which ebuild contains it. I am increasingly of the opinion that the kde split ebuilds thing was done with little planning and forethought.
After all... actually knowing what a program is called ought to be enough of a clue for finding the ebuild containing it... |

It's inside kde-base/konq-plugins. You then access it through the "view" menu in konqueror. _________________ Julien Cugnière |

You're welcome!
Although, you kind of already had the answer:
