Hello, this is my first experience with gentoo, and ive finally gotten kde up and running. yay! but now, whenever i boot, i get this message from kde:
error while initializing sound driver. device /dev/dsp can't be opened (no such device) the sound server will continue, using null output device.
what does this mean? how can i fix it? ive searched the forums and google, but im having difficulty understand what this means.
thanks!
ben
