|
|
I have a crontab set up for my user, and also another crontab for the user root. However, the commands in the crontab aren't being executed.
My crontab for myself is as follows:
Code: |
SHELL=/bin/sh
QTDIR=/usr/qt/3
0 7 * * * /usr/bin/mythfilldatabase --mark-repeats --no-delete --quiet
0 6 * * * /usr/bin/rdate -s time.nist.gov
34 * * * * /bin/yasuc
|
It seems that the mythfilldatabase runs, however the rdate and yasuc programs do not run at the specified time interval. Whats the deal? _________________ Tyan Tiger MPX 2466

Have you looked to see if you have ~/dead.letter and what it says? Errors from cron usually end up here I believe. _________________ Vim has excellent syntax highlighting for configuration files: emerge gentoo-syntax
