hello,
i've downloaded the 2005.0 universal live cd for amd64 and packagecd. md5 sums are ok, successfully burned. i launched the cd and now i must install the kernel. the docs says that i must emerge gentoo-dev-sources instead of gentoo-sources because gentoo-dev-sources are patched for amd64.
but when i type | Code: | | emerge gentoo-dev-sources |
it says me that gentoo-dev-sources can't be found 
what can i do now ?

gentoo-dev-sources doesn't exist anymore: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-315281.html. Where did you find the handbook you're using? The newer ones should be less misleading...

i searched for amd64 specific installation and i found this. this doc is deprecated ?
