kernel-2.6.11-gentoo-r8 and ati-drivers

The same story goes again The 3d support is broken again in the new kernel.. And yes I did re-emerge the ati-drivers after upgrading my kernel, and the linux points to the r8 kernel, and not the r7, so everything should be okay.

My ati card is a mobility radeon 9700... I think i'm just going to wait for the next kernel r9 or something!

Anyway, just thought I would report it so you know, cause I haven't seen a post concerning this in the forum.
