Installing 1.4_rc2, bailing with access violation, what do I

Would anyone have any ideas why I am getting the following error ?

I am following the installation procedure provided on gentoo.org. It bails with an access violation. What do I do to correct this. thanks. GK

Can you try removing -malign-double? Also, follow bug 14608.

Thanks rac for pointing that out, I initially searched bugzilla, with no hits , anyway
I restarted from scratch with only -O3 -pipe, everything seems to be going well now.

I suspect previous python compile to have been afected.

7 hours later, still building , eager to see how this will run on my PPro, 96MB.
