This type of message caused my PC Speaker to beep over and over again.

dynamic linker which will cause serious performance impact on IA-32
and might not function properly on other architectures hppa for example.
If you are a programmer please take a closer look at this package and
consider writing a patch which addresses this problem. |

Wine is not the only package, it's just extreme in the number of beeps you get. Other packages incluse libsdl and xvid

No it doesn't break, but I almost got a heart attack the first time I heard it.
