Tastaturlayout nach update nicht wieder auf DE umstellbar

Hallo Forum!

Ich habe nach das seit langem notwendige 'emerge --update --deep wold' und das kontrollierte 'env-update' gemacht und plage mich seit Tagen mit den Folgen.

Das uebergebliebene und schlimmste Problem ist die Tastaturbelegung.

Hardware: Toshiba Sattelite M30x-148 Laptop mit deutscher Tastatur

Kernel: 2.6.9
X -version 6.8.2
KDE 3.3

Was funktioniert:
im Grub alle Tasten, in KDE Zahlen, normale Buschstaben, !"$%&/()=?'<>,.-#'+

Was nicht geht: paragraph ueber der zwei, die deutschen "strichelchen-zeichen" neben p und l, das sz, die AtGr Taste und z.B. die STRG-ALT-Fx Konsolenumschaltung
(obwohl die Konsolen gestartet sind - ps -A)

Erfolglos versucht:
Lokalisierungs-Anleitung, Forensuche, googlesuche, umstellen der Tastaturlayouts mittels Kontollzentrum, handbearbeiten der xorg.conf, ...
rc.config kontrolliert.

hmm, nur ne Vermutung, aber mach mal bei Deiner rc.conf

Schönen Dank schon mal! Ich kann jetzt üöä usw aber die AltGr- und Alt-Taste wollen noch nicht.
Das ist aber wegen Consolenumschaltung (STRG-ALT-Fx) und den runden Klammern, dem at, pipe usw. noch nicht zufriedenstellend.
Hat jemand da noch ne Idee ?

Nach dem Neucompilieren von xorg_x11 und ein paar Änderungen an der xorg.conf und dem Einstellen der gleichen Optionenn im Kontrollzentrum hat es dann funktioniert!

pc105 , nodeadkeys, uws.

TIP: im Kontrollzentrum unter Umschaltregelug das Häkchen vor "Anzeige für einzelne Belegung" aktivieren -> zeigt einem zumindest wenn es nicht geht!
