Gentoo on a Sony UX50?

Has anyone started this project? My friend want to have Linux installed on his UX-50 and I have nothing else better to do. Here's some specs of the PDA.

It looks like the cpu is based on an ARM926 core and if it has an (enabled) MMU it could(?) boot a full kernel. uclinux could also run on it. The question is will the device be able to do something more than booting a kernel. specs anyone?

But IMO, if your friend wants to play arround with linux on a handheld, he should pickup an old ipaq or a psion, coz palm devices are nowhere near.
