Does anybody have this?

I read up on PCI-X and SATAII and as far as I can understand they're both backwards compatible. I have a non-PCI-X mobo and an old Seagate SATA harddrive (the reason I'm buying a new SATA controller, since this HD doesn't work too well with the ole SiliconImage3112)

Do the TX2 drives support the TX2Plus? I just want to buy the PCI-X SataII card so I don't have to upgrade it later. If anybody has a TX2plus that works/doesn't, let me know please
