im currently trying to fing out which iso to download. i have this proccessor:

Pentium 1 (NO MMX)
Spec Number SL24R
Processor Frequency 166 MHz
CPUID String 052C
Package Type Socket 5/7
Core Voltage 3.4 - 3.6V
Bus Speed 66 MHz

Core Stepping cC0

By "iso", I assume you mean LiveCD, rather than the stage tarballs. If so, you want this one:

For what purpose are you setting up your machine?

Starting from stage1 will take A LOT of time... (it depends of course on what you will install). I think I'd do it to set-up a firewall or router.

Actually the i586 version would work fine. And it has stage 3 too.
