Anyone had experiecne with APF firewall? Do I have to do this, #emerge iptables before I can install the APF Can I do this? #emerge APF or I do I have to go through the usual of unpacking and runing the install script?

although you can always search portage for some program you'd like to emerge with

Code:

emerge -s <at_least_partial_program_name>

it seems to me, that apf isn't included in portage.

You might be interested to check out the net-firewall group of the portage tree to find a similar application though.
