|
As I type halt as root or shutdown -h now or as I chose shutdown in gdm, my computer doesn't want ti halt and just reboot. This appears after an upgrade from X-4.2.1 and gnome 2 to X-4.2.99-4 and gnome 2.2 (and a few other things, as I emerged -u world but not acpid as far as I am concerned). What could have been changed during this upgrade ??
Regards,
Sébastien.
[EDIT] Also as I tell gnome in the login panel to shutdown, my system reboots !!

Come on, this should be not so hard to solve as a matter:
Please find enclose... blabla ... my /etc/acpid/default
[code]
# This is the ACPID default configuration, it takes all
# events and passes them to /etc/acpi/default.sh for further
# processing.
# event keeps a regular expression matching the event. To get
# power events only, just use something like "event=button power.*"
# to catch it.
# action keeps the command to be executed after an event occurs
# In case of the power event above, your entry may look this way:
event=button/power.*
action=/sbin/init 0
# Optionally you can specify the placeholder %e. It will pass
# through the whole kernel event message to the program you've
# specified.
event=.*
action=/etc/acpi/default.sh %e
[code]
Typically, I din't change anything in this file for some times and it cannot but the problem. The problem is: my init levels are messed up !!!
I would be happy if ... someone helps me
Regards,
Sébastien. |
