|
|
Hi Guys,
I will use the reiserfs4 file system, so I have installed the mm-sources,
because this kernel has the required support for reiserfs4.
After restart my system I noticed that it doesn't work.
Here is the error message:
REISERFS: panic (device Null superblock): reiserfs[4951]: assertion !( comp_keys( &MAX_KEY, p_s_key ) && ! key_in_buffer(p_s_search_path, p_s_key, p_s_sb) ) failed at fs/reiserfs/stree.c:685:search_by_key: PAP-5130: key is not in the buffer.
My current root filesystem is REISERFS !
Any solutions for this problem ?
Thank you. |

Your root filesystem might be corrupted, hence the key error and panic. Boot up a liveCD and run fsck.reiserfs on it. _________________ Magyarok jelentkezzetek!

Make sure you are clear about the difference between reiserfs (ie 3.6) and reiser4 . Reiserfs4 does not exist.
If you think R4 is just a more recent version of reiserfs read about it, they are two very different filesystems. One is supported by gentoo , R4 is not and you will be banned from the forum for the rest of you life if you even mention it's god-forasken name.
Well, slight exageration. But this thread has appartently been stuffed into "unsupported" becasue you mentioned R4 even though it would appear the you have a reiserfs issue.
You should clarify in your owm mind which you are using and make sure you are not trying to mount r4 as reiserfs or vice versa . Then try posting a now thread without mentionaing R4 if it is not the issue.
If it is , post an update here clarifying which you are using.
