Hey everyone,
I'm using an nforce2 motherboard with onboard sound. It's pretty good for most things, except the bitrate is stuck at 48000Hz. (This is with nforce-audio and alsa-driver 1.0.8.) This gives me latency issues in most audio-using applications. It entirely ruins Flash audio, which goes at about six times the usual rate and steady, or at the normal rate but intermittent.
There were no such issues with the motherboard when I was using Ubuntu. So what am I doing wrong? _________________ I admit it, it's my fault. |

if you still have problems with it try the 5.1 oss drivers, you just have to disable alsa in your kernel
