After system-installation I run grub and type setup (hd0) it says that it cannot mount hda. (because it's got NTFS on it).
I need to boot multiple systems so I tried to make a GRUB bootdisc but /dev/fd0 does not exist!!! There is only an f directory in /dev which does not help. How can It be that there are no /dev/fdx links?

do a "df -Th" and see wheres ur /boot partition lets say in hda2
grub > root(hd0,1) ---its more likely what u have to do , read --man grub--
also make sure u
Code:
mount /boot
after editing /etc/fstab
