Hi
When I run Matlab 7, it crashes after a while with the following error message in the shell:
Code: |
bash-2.05b$ matlab
head: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed in the future <- occurs after starting
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty)
Value in failed request: 0x4
Serial number of failed request: 9812
Current serial number in output stream: 9814
|
I'm using Matlab 7 R14.
Has anyone experienced this? |

jaroCH,
It seems you are not alone, and it is not specific to Gentoo, see here. Unfortunately, it does not give a solution. _________________ Vim has excellent syntax highlighting for configuration files: emerge gentoo-syntax

Thanks
But I dont think that it's a general Linux problem. I've installed Matlab on Mandrake 10.1 and it worked fine.
Has anyone managed it, to install Matlab on Gentoo? |
