That means, If I do:
/etc/init.d/mldonkey start
my internet connection stops working and it works again if I do:
/etc/init.d/mldonkey stop
any idea?
This has started happening suddenly. I have not installed a new version of mldonkey or something like that.
Greetings

No, it's not eating all my by bandwidth. In fact, the speed is always below 20 K (my internet connection reaches 64).
The strange thing about this is that it started happening suddenly. Maybe there are corrupted files in the .mldonkey directory. I'll try to find out which files I can delete... and delete them.
Thank you. I'll report any progress.

mldonkey is no donkey, its a pig! Especially when it comes to consuming all your bandwidth. I'd look into some traffic shaping if I were you. The instant mldonkey makes a horde of connections your upload bandwidth will reach the max and when that happens your download bandwidth will drop to equal your upload bandwidth - no fun there. Traffic shaping is the way to go.
