Ciao,
sto testando i mirror gentoo della Garr (il cui acronimo singifica "Gestione Amplimento Rete Ricerca")
http://cdn.mirror.garr.it/mirrors/gentoo/
Sembrano andare MOOLTO veloci.. dato che l'accesso avviene a Milano Bologna Roma e Napoli sulle dorsali... Io l'ho piazzato come primo mirror nel make.conf!! 
Esiste anche un mirror che sia chiama gentoo-portage http://cdn.mirror.garr.it/mirrors/gentoo-portage/ che dovrebbe fare da sync ma non accetta il protocollo rsync a quanto pare...

li ho provati entrambi e dall'interno dell'uni è veramente spaziale dall'esterno nn è che ci sia moltissima differenza mi pare....cmq effettivamente quello del garr è più veloce veloce

Unico inconveniente e' che non e' sempre aggiornatissimo.

Forse pero' voi non avete tutti linee velocissime, altrimenti penso che quello di padova vi soddisferebbe..

Sul sito c'e' scritto "Gestione Amplimento Rete Ricerca" poi potrebberlo averlo cambiato

scarico (quando sono in fastweb fibra) a 700kb
si potrebbe fare un sondaggio o qualcosa per fare una classifica dei migliori mirror per noi italiani. no? |
