I got an external Chasis for an IDE HD, it'a a case that holds the HD and make posible to connect it in windows as a normal external HD, i don't know how can i make it work in linux, if someone has any idea, plz tell me.
And if any of you know whats the name of this device i can change the title of the thread.

How is that devices connected to the pc? Firewire? USB? Other?
If it is usb, look for threads where people want to use their usb-sticks. An external hd is pretty much the same. And there are lots of those threads.... |

It's USB, i said it b4, i'm going to try the usb stick method, tnx.

Where exactly is the part where you mention usb?
