I got an external Chasis for an IDE HD, it'a a case that holds the HD and make posible to connect it in windows as a normal external HD, i don't know how can i make it work in linux, if someone has any idea, plz tell me.
And if any of you know whats the name of this device i can change the title of the thread. _________________ --[G]-- |

How is that devices connected to the pc? Firewire? USB? Other?
If it is usb, look for threads where people want to use their usb-sticks. An external hd is pretty much the same. And there are lots of those threads.... |

Where exactly is the part where you mention usb?
