|
|
i have a SE T610. i bought it for the features, but the reception was bad, and the os seemed buggy, camera is bad, bluetooth is slow and low range. it just seems that this phone is a half-ass jack of all trades.
i moved to a new apt and the reception is total crap, its time for a new phone.
can anyone reccomend a good phone that has good ineroperability with gentoo, and have good reception and sound quality?
i'm not looking for a smart phone, but something that will let me sync my contacts and maybe my schedule.
EDIT:btw it needs to be a GSM phone |

hmm..
..don't know for sure about *your* region, but in canada you have to be careful. MOTOROLA makes phones with great bluetooth and other features i hear, but the models marketed through gsm carriers (rogers, fido) carry a more full bluetooth feature support, while reps from CDMA carriers (bell, telus) admitted their phones have all bluetooth connectivity crippled except they connect with a headset.
i opted for a plan with telus, they were cheap, so i didn't waste my $$ on a crippled bluetooth fone. i'll wait until gsm comes down or.. you get the picture. so my BT adventures will have to wait
