Hi folks,
My web/mail server requires that the recipient has a home directory
local_recipient_maps = unix:passwd.byname $alias_maps
require_home_directory = yes
smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient = yes
Yet these sober emails seem to successully deliver email to the main email account "admin", by using random recipents "X-Account", "x-mail-host78" "info" "recipients" "e_smtp" etc. All these do not have any home directories, nor are they in the alias file, or in the password file.
When I test sending to those none-existing emails, I get a NOQUE REJECT. However, Sober emails to the same none-existing email receive just a REJECT, and then the CLEANUP seems to re-write and add "deliver-to"
admin, even though there's no cach-all email.
Would someone please point out which directives to use to disable this re-write, or whatever sober is using to by-pass the above two directives? My config is quite vanilla out of the box, just filled out the myhost and mynetword paramaeter and the basics, no defined filters or rewrites. The above 3 lines were added to prevent sober emails, to no avail.
