Okay....I've got everything configured and I'm pulling down an IP address from my VPN server at work; however, I can't ping the P-t-P address. When I run in debug mode and ping the P-t-P..I get the following:
Code: |
Unsupported protocol 0x2cbd received
Unsupported protocol 'DCA Remote Lan' (0x47) received
Unsupported protocol 0xef received
Unsupported protocol 0x416 received
Unsupported protocol 0xb2cb received
//I kill it at this time - cause it isn't going to return my ping request
|
Anyone have any ideas I could try....I hate VPN'ing using Win-blows...

What type on VPN is it? LTP, PPTP, OpenVPN, which?
For PPTP you need a kernel patched with ppp-mppe. _________________ Military Commissions Act of 2006: http://tinyurl.com/jrcto

My kernel is patched with the mppe patch from polbox.com. I'm connecting to an MS-VPN server sooooo...it's PPTP.
Thanks - jm _________________ I've never seen a purple cow...
