Hello,
I'm using kubuntu right now and now i decided to try gentoo.
I would like some help at first time i read and print handbook too.
I made partition 20gb Mac OS X and the rest of it for gentoo.
So if i follow instructions from handbook everything should be ok with partition and will not destroy my os x part?
I see a lot of people have troubles with yaboot ,is there something to be aware when installing and config yaboot.
Please let me know i only have one computer and handbook so i'll have no other help when install begin. |

Well, as long as you don't delete the OSX partition or create a different filesystem on top, yes, it should work fine. Make sure that your OSX partition comes after the bootstrap partition, this will make booting easier.
Just so you know, we include irssi and links on the InstallCD, so as long as your network is working, you can ask us questions on IRC or here in the fourms. _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml |
