Hi,
da ich mit Gentoo noch nicht so vertraut bin, haeb ich noch meine Probleme. Gerade wollte ich die Alsa-Treiber emergen, da muss ich folgendes lesen | Quote: | | Your kernel doesn't have sound support enabled. |
Nun habe ich bei meiner Stage-3-Installation meinen 2.6er Kernel mit genkernel erstellt, daher wundert es mich etwas, das der Sound Support disabled ist. Wie auch immer.
Wie genau kannich den jetzt den Sound Support aktivieren. (Bitte für einen Anfänger erklären

Und ich habe meinen Kernel, wie schon geschrieben, mit genkernel erstellt und Sound Card Support ist anscheinend dennoch nicht aktiviert. Und meine Frage war auch WIE ich das nun nachträglich installiere, das konnte ich da jetzt nicht raus ersehen. Falls ich das übersehen habe, bitte anmeckern

OK:
1.: emerge pciutils
2.: lspci | grep -i audio -> Sollte dir sagen, welchen audio-treiber du brauchst
3.: Back dir einen neuen Kernel -> Manuelle Konfiguration, nicht genkernel, nach Handbuch. Ist echt nicht so schwer wie es aussieht 
4.: device-drivers -> sound -> alsa-sound -> pci -> (dein soundmodul) aktivieren.
5.: Solltest noch beachten, welchen Plattencontroller du hast: lspci | grep -i ide -> chipset aktivieren.
device-drivers -> ata/... Hier deinen Chipset aussuchen. (kanns jetzt nicht genau sagen, aber so ungefähr)
Das Gentoo-Installations-Handbuch gibt weitere wichtige Ratschläge, welche Optionen für ein funktionierendes System aktiviert werden sollten.
Viel Spaß beim Experimentieren.

Gibt es garkeine andere Möglichkeit außer selber einen Kernel zu bauen, bzw. neu zu kompilieren?
Ich hab da eigentlich im Moment weder Zeit noch Muße zu. |
