Hi, I am new in this topic.
I installed Gentoo the last version, and when I finalize the installation, I changed the password for root and then I reinitiated the computer, but the passwor not is, the gentoo told me "Login Incorrect" and the password that I has changed not is.
Somebody help me !!

You can boot back to the live cd, chroot back in, and reset password.
Just boot to the cd,

then mount your filesystem (mount /dev/hda etc /mnt/gentoo

then chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash

then issue the passwd command to set the root password to what you want it to be.

I again, Im sorry, you can undarstand to me, but Im new.
when I it tried to execute the mount /dev/hda etc /mnt/gentoo
Gentoo said me

mount point etc/mnt/gentoo does exist
Special device /dev/hda does not exist
mount: cant find /dev/hda in /etc/fstab or /etc/mstab
Help

/dev/hda1 ext2 32M
/dev/hda2 (swap) 512M
/dev/hda3 ext3

Then I think you can just use "mount /dev/hda3 /mnt/gentoo", "chroot /mnt/gentoo", "passwd", "exit" and "reboot".
