I get these errors when emerging. The first is during the configure:
checking GhostScript check... no
GS /usr/bin/gs
checking how to redirect GhostScript output to fd 3... ACCESS DENIED open_wr: /dev/fd/3
./configure: line 1763: /dev/fd/3: Permission denied
using |/usr/bin/cat >&3
The second is related to this and is while compiling:
--------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------
LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-net-print_-_foomatic-db-engine-3.0.2-18963.log"
open_wr: /dev/fd/3 (symlink to /proc/19349/fd/3)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anybody had a similar problem and knows a fix? /dev/fd/3 exists according to rox when I browse to the folder, but according to my console it doesn't.

FEATURES="-sandbox" emerge --oneshot foomatic-db-engine is a solution but please note that sandbox gives you quite security, so leaving it out from the 'loop' is not really the best thing to do  however for small homenetworks, it doesn't really matter.
