How to get the .config from gentoo cd?

Hi,

I'd like to know if its possible to the get the ".config" of the kernel when you boot from the gentoo cd? I want to build my kernel with the same configuration...

If it is on the CD does anyone know the path to it?

I have the stage 3 LIVECD

I would like this also, but I cannot locate the .config file on the boot cd that I have.

Since the kernel source isn't on the CD I doubt the config will be either.

It's not in stage1 anyway

April 2002 until now is more than a couple of days.

Please one of you developers post the kernel config somewhere. (Also the config could be included in a configs directory from the emerge kernel-sources)

You probably want the kernel source as well (for the install cd) and not just the .config file...
