Hi there,
Is there a comparable alternative to Gnome's Services viewer in KDE? I've been searching all over for one, but no luck so far.
Thanks |

It's similar to KSysGuard, except it shows currently running services (for three runlevels) and boot-time services, whereas KSysGuard shows only running processes. Services Viewer shows most of the services in the /etc/init.d folder, along with checkmarks beside the running ones (and a little pop-up "Service Properties" window). In retrospect, it is quite similar to the Services viewer in Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 (a much more simplified version, I'd say). I would provide a screenshot of it as an attachment but I currently don't have a web-space to upload it to. |
