|
I remember reading on Gentoo site that that because there were some backward compatibility problems with the latested version of Apache that it had been given a developmental status. I am wanting to do an apache install from scratch so backward compatibility is not an issues. I would to confirm which is the preferred version for this. Use is for small home network. |

emerge -p apache will tell you which version is the latest marked stable, as long as you don't have ~x86 in your keywords in make.conf. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
